Col′s interests include travel, airman aircrew reunions (anywhere at anytime), researching RAAF C-130 history, C-130 photos and memorabilia plus ticking-off bucket list attendance at airshows, with Wings of Illawarra, Watts Bridge, Singapore already done. |

Col was instrumental in establishing the No 37 Squadron (RAAF) Association, elected President at the inaugural meeting in 2014, and each successive year to date. The 37 Squadron (RAAF) Association, in conjunction with 37 Squadron, organises and facilitates squadron commemorative events and milestones including the unit′s 70th Anniversary in 2013; 50 years of C-130 Operations in 2016; 37 Squadron Memorial Plaque Dedication, Australian War Memorial Canberra, April 2017; Remembrance Day, Penang Malaysia, November 2017; and the 60 Years of RAAF C-130 Operations function in 2018. |
