Post RAAF:

Blue resigned from the RAAF in 1978 and crewed B727s with Air Nauru.  Joined Cathay Pacific in 1979 and over the next 17 years crewed the B707, Locheed L1011 (Tristar) and B747-200, 300 and B747 freighter becoming Deputy Chief Flight Engineer B747 in 1992.  Resigned from Cathay Pacific in 1995.
