Ian Enlisted in the RAAF on 30AUG67 and served as an airfield defence guard.  He saw service in Vietnam from June 1968 to May 1968 serving with both Base Support Flight and 1 Operational Support Unit.  In 1976, Ian remustered to C-130 loadmaster and saw service with 37 Squadron (C-130E), and later, with 36 Squadron (C-130H).  In the mid-80s, he served as Loadmaster Leader with 36 Squadron.  Vietnam Service Record.
