Other: From October to December, 1977, Peter, along with three other members of 36 Squadron, was attached to 14 Squadron, Royal Malaysian Air Force (Tentera Udara Diraja Malaysia (TUDM)), to instruct on aerial delivery techniques and procedures.

In 1985, Peter was offered a posting to 36 Squadron (from AMTDU) as Loadmaster Leader, but instead, decided to elect discharge. titlehough Peter loved the job, he felt that after 15 years on C-130's, and at 38 years of age, it was time to depart due to personal reasons and to pursue other interests.
