During Operation Hayman, LAC Monahan flew in a No 9 Squadron, RAAF, Iroquois helicopter.  The squadron flew Australian troops, food, water, ammunition and over 550 suspected Viet Cong (VC) to the Task Force Headquarters for questioning.  Vietnam Service Record.
