Jeff completed 20 years service in the RAAF and was discharged in May 1996.  This followed eight years as a Boeing 747 fllight engineer with Japan Airlines.  Following this, Jeff became a pilot and captain of a Falcon 2000EX business jet based in Brisbane.  Jeff is now a Boeing 737 captain with Virgin Australia.
