RIP to Vietnam-era Airfield Defence Guard and 9 Squadron door gunner, A318123 Christopher John FLINN. Christopher was born on 30 September 1949 and passed away on 10 January 1991. He served at Vung Tau with 1 Operational Support Unit (1OSU) from 04 June 1969 to 17 November 1969, and with 9 Squadron from 18 November 1969 to 04 June 1970. Chris completed his tour of Vietnam on 04 June 1970 and was repatriated from Vung Tau to Australia the following day (05 June 1970). Chris passed away in Hospital at Bright, Victoria, aged 41 years.
