Mike joined the RAAF in 1965, served 23 years and discharged as a Warrant Officer.   After leaving the RAAF, he was accepted into university to study medicine.   After graduation, and on completing the necessary OJT, Mike went on to become a hearing specialist and he has a successful hearing clinic in Ulverstone, Tasmania.
