12 Squadron Reunion, 6/7 September 2024 ....
General Information ....
Attendance at the 2024 12 Squadron Reunion is open to all serving and past 12 Squadron members and others.
Special Guests:
The reunion comprises three main events:
- 1700, Friday 6th September. Wreath-laying ceremony at the Maroochy Cenotaph, 53, The Esplanade, Maroochydore. Medals optional. Dress: Neat casual. The ceremony will include a Poppy Service in remembrance of our fallen mates, the laying of wreaths and hopefully a CH47 flyover.
- 1800, Friday 6th September. Informal ′Meet ′n Greet′. Dress: Neat casual. Maroochy RSL. A variety of platters of finger food provided (buy your own drinks). Past members, family and friends are most welcome to attend. Cost is $30.00 per head with payment made via Trybooking.
- 1800, Saturday 7th September. Semi-formal reunion dinner at the Maroochy RSL. Dress: Neat casual. Medals optional. Dinner comprising a three-course, alternate drop meal, a limited amount of complimentary refreshments (soft drinks, beer, house wine and basic spirits), a limited-edition stubby cooler, and entry to the RSL club afterwards (closes at 2:00am, Sunday morning!). There will be options available to cater for dietary requirements. The cost is $110.00 per head with payment via Trybooking.
Costings Per Person:
- ′Meet ′n Greet′, $30.00. Includes finger food. Drinks may be purchased from the bar at bar prices.
- Dinner, $110.00. Alternate drop entrée and main course with dessert followed by tea and coffee. A limited amount of complimentary refreshments (soft drinks, beer, house wine and basic spirits) provided. Additional drinks may be purchased from the bar at bar prices.
- Seating: Circular tables with seating for eight per table. With the exception of the top table, there will be no seating plan.

- A group photo will be taken during the dinner (we'll endeavor to get everyone′s name) as a memento of the reunion.
Lucky Door Prize and Raffle
- David Henderson has kindly produced two Chinook paintings, one will be offered as a lucky door prize, and the other raffled. This will be at the Saturday night dinner. Tickets are $5.00 each and will be available to purchase on the night and prior to the event through Trybooking.
Memorabilia
- Memorabilia include stubby coolers, embroidered polo shirts, and a challenge coin. These will be available for purchase by those attending the reunion as well as by those not attending. There will be a cut-off date for the purchase of memorabilia which will be advised.

- Registration is through Trybooking. It is requested that your registration be received no later than Wednesday 21st August.
